Justin Bieber is giving his best Blue Steel’s impression.
Justin Bieber and Zoolander 2 star Ben Stiller posted Instagrams early Wednesday teasing a Bieber cameo in the high-fashion comedy sequel that’s filming now and is due in theaters Feb. 12, 2016.
“#Zoolander2 @justinbieber” wrote Ben Stiller on Instagram early Wednesday.
On his Instagram, Justin appeared to assure fans that his dark, spiky Zoolander-esque ‘do was just temporary:“@benstiller #Zoolander2 #itsawignotmynewhair”.
Justin had already hinted that something was in the works on April 27 on his Facebook page, writing, “Working on something big right now in Europe. To learn more follow me on Fahlo. He is so hot right now.” (Biebs with the Zoolander reference!)
There’s still no report on who Justin might be playing in the movie, but if the news is indeed true, he’s joining a wildly diverse group of actors who’ve all been teased on Stiller’s active Instagram account including Penélope Cruz, Kristen Wiig, Fred Armisen, Billy Zane, and Saturday Night Live cast members Kyle Mooney and Beck Bennett.
Ben Stiller — who’s also directing — is of course reprising his role as the marvelous male model Derek Zoolander. He’s joined by returning stars Owen Wilson, as Derek’s hang-loose rival Hansel, and Will Ferrell as the villainous fashion mogul Mugatu.
